This custom thermometer/hydrometer unit was designed to monitor temperature and humidity on a day by day basis. The reason for this custom solution versus using simple cheap commercial units was twofold: the first being this unit tracks temperature over time and plots that as a graph on a secondary screen for an accurate view of temperature change over a 24hr time period. The second advantage is the high and low values are programmed to reset daily, whereas the cheaper commercial monitors use an all time high/low tracker that only resets with a power cycle.

The entire unit is running on an RP2040 on a custom designed PCB. For the sensor it is utilizing the DHT22 thermometer/hydrometer. All the data is displayed across two small OLED displays
