Data Collection

Data collection is often a key requirement for most experiments. Integrating sensors into the design and capturing that data is important. Doing that in an affordable and reliable way is essential.

Repetitive and labor intensive tasks are prone to human error and have high costs associated. Being able to automate the apparatus lowers cost and risks of erroneous data due to human error.

FAQ

  • Sometimes not if it's purely mechanical. For automation and data collection there is usually electronics that have to be designed, built and incorporated into the prototype.

  • Yes it does together with the PCB manufacturing. It is actually cheaper to manufacture a complete PCB than build a protoboard for testing. It usually only takes a couple of weeks to receive the PCB.
